Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Is the original Justo an app-controlled direct-drive trainer?
Yes. The US importer identifies it as an interactive direct-drive trainer with automatic resistance control and ANT+ FE-C/Bluetooth support. Its earlier lifecycle is separate from the current Justo 2, and an exact bike still needs axle/frame compatibility checks.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the US importer confirm a cassette is included?
No. It lists compatible Shimano 9–12-speed road cassettes but does not clearly state that a cassette is fitted or in the box. Confirm the exact freehub, cassette, spacers and package with the seller rather than inferring contents from compatibility wording.
Explore this need in the finder →Can I add Zwift Cog and Click to the original Justo?
Elite's current support article includes Justo among models that support the Elite-specific Cog and Click upgrade after compatible firmware. It is an add-on conversion, not a documented included part of this US importer offer, and Zwift requires the correct Bluetooth connection for virtual-shifting functions.
Explore this need in the finder →The original Elite Justo is an earlier-generation direct-drive smart trainer, distinct from the current Justo 2. Its strongest documented case is a wheel-off setup with electronically controlled resistance, a claimed integrated power meter, and a relatively high published simulated-grade limit. The official US importer identifies this model as MPN 0211001EXUE; its listing does not establish that every current box contains a cassette, so treat package contents as a purchase check rather than assuming a ready-to-ride drivetrain.
Model identity and lifecycle
Elite's own history places Justo in its earlier smart-trainer generation and describes Justo 2 as the later model with built-in Wi-Fi. The present Elite home-trainer catalog lists Justo 2 and its other current families, while the US importer retains a separate Justo listing under MPN 0211001EXUE and Todson SKU 110211001EXUE. The importer page was unavailable for purchase at the October 29, 2026 observation. That is a dated stock state, not a prediction, and it does not turn the original model into Justo 2.
Direct-drive setup and bicycle checks
Like other direct-drive trainers, Justo requires removing the bicycle's rear wheel and attaching the frame at the trainer's axle interface. Todson lists included adapters for 130–135 mm quick-release axles and a 12 × 142 mm thru axle. That does not resolve every frame, dropout, disc-brake, or chainline question: compare the exact bicycle's axle and frame requirements with the correct adapter and consult the bike and trainer manuals before mounting it.
The importer lists Shimano 9-, 10-, 11-, and 12-speed road cassettes as compatible, but its product description does not say clearly whether a cassette is installed or included in the offered box. “Compatible with” is not a packing list. Ask the seller to confirm the fitted freehub body, cassette brand, speed, tooth range, spacers, and included tools for the exact offer. If it arrives without a cassette, budget for a compatible one and installation; if one is included, do not assume that its sprocket spacing suits every Shimano or SRAM drivetrain.
Resistance and published limits
Todson describes automatic resistance control, an integrated power meter with claimed accuracy within 1%, 1,100 W at 20 km/h, 2,300 W at 40 km/h, and a maximum simulated slope of 24%. Elite's retrospective also identifies Justo as its 2022 high-end trainer and repeats the ±1% power-accuracy claim. These are manufacturer/importer specifications, not independent measurements or a promise that a particular rider will encounter the full grade range in every app. The power figure varies by stated wheel speed, so it should not be read as one constant limit.
Justo has a documented stand-alone use that is more flexible than the basic “app or no app” distinction suggests. Elite's support instructions say the powered, disconnected mode can retain a preset simulated grade from 0% to 24%; the unplugged mode retains one of 16 resistance levels. The desired setting has to be configured through My E-Training while the trainer is powered before using those stand-alone modes. This is useful if you want a repeatable fixed setting, but it is not the same as automatic app control during a connected workout, nor does it mean resistance can be changed on the fly without a connection.
Connectivity and virtual shifting
The US importer documents ANT+ FE-C and Bluetooth FTMS paths for power, speed, and cadence data. Match the protocol to the display or training app you intend to use; the importer page does not document built-in Wi-Fi for this original model. Elite's current support material also says Justo can use the Elite-compatible Zwift Cog and Click upgrade kit after the necessary firmware update. That is an optional conversion, not evidence that the US Justo item is sold with Cog and Click pre-installed. The Cog/Click functions are Zwift-specific, and Elite's compatibility guidance requires Bluetooth for them; confirm the exact kit, firmware, and app support before planning around virtual shifting.
How it compares and who should keep looking
The later Justo 2 is the clearer choice if you want a current-generation offer with Wi-Fi and an identified US cassette package. The original Justo may still be worth examining if a seller has the exact earlier trainer and can document its condition, box, warranty, and included drivetrain parts. Its 24% grade and ±1% power claims are similar on paper to the newer model, but the original listing does not establish every newer connectivity or bundle feature. No head-to-head ride, noise comparison, power measurement, or hands-on setup is claimed here.
Before buying, verify the exact MPN, serial/model label, return terms, warranty coverage for this older unit, included power supply, axle adapters, freehub and cassette, and any Cog/Click accessories separately. If current stock, an included cassette, a particular app feature, or a specified fit is essential and the seller cannot confirm it, leave that requirement unmet rather than using the Justo 2 or Cog-package description as a substitute.

This assessment is based on the official US importer listing, Elite's model-history article and its stand-alone trainer instructions. The separate Justo 2 package is assessed in its own review; neither it nor the Cog/Click listing is treated as proof of this older offer's exact box contents.
